Tapping Shoulders

I don’t know Bill Hart personally. But, now, due to the loving grace of Jeannette Hereniko, who sent me Bill Hart’s “Shoulder Taps” video, I know him spiritually.

His video did more than tap my shoulders. He blessed my soul and stirred my heart.

A question: Have you ever been unable to speak, to say anything in a moment. This happened in the video, for Bill Hart…and for me.

I ask…well short of demand but not hope: will you gift yourself a couple of minutes to watch, listen and feel this video?

Then. There always should be a ‘then.” Tthink of someone whose shoulders you have tapped recently…or, even better, thankful for those who’ve tapped yours. Thank him or her or them.

And then, today. See in the normal pace and content of today, you can help someone never get caught up in the negative claim, “You are not enough!” Rather, to touch them with your presence so they know, not being enough is never apt.

The link…thank you, Jeannette, always love you, my distant version of tapping your shoulder. Yes, distance in miles from Texas to Hawaii, but never distant in spirit.

Grace, peace and tapping to us all,

About Mark H Miller

Diane and I live in Leander, Texas. This past June 17, 2015 I celebrated the 49th anniversary of my ordination. We returned to Texas after three years in Washington, during which I served as interim minister in Bellevue/Eastgate and Mercer Island. Am planning to begin a 5th novel that will have my protagonist, Tricia Gleason, serve a year in licensed ministry in Snoqualmie, Washington. The novel, "The Lemon Drop Didn't Melt," will find Tricia wrestling with ministry challenges. None of which more daunting than someone wanting her breathing to stop. All the published novels are available on Amazon and Amazon Kindle under Mark Henry Miller. A primary goal in our return to Texas is to make sure grandchildren get lots of attention--here and in Chicago and Washington, D.C. Traveling is definitely an activity that will not slow down. With that, of course, fishing will happen. To that the t-shirt is apt, "I fish; therefore I am." In addition to novels, the book of Blogs, "Voice Of My Heart," is also available on Amazon.
